Dale Bailey - Pastor

Pastor Dale Bailey has been working in the ministry since 1985 when he began as an associate in the Bible Missionary Church in Washington state.  He has been pastoring in the Church of the Nazarene since 1996 when he took the church in Cleveland, Mississippi.

He is a second generation pastor and says that the ministry has been a part of his life since birth because he was brought up in a parsonage family.  He received his call to preach at the age of 10.  He says, "After 5 years of part-time ministry and 16 years of full time, I can testify to God's power, direction and faithfulness. My heart is fully surrendered to God's will for my life. It is my passion to obey His call, preach the Word, win souls for Jesus and become more like Him." 

He and his wife, Robin, have three children of their own: Ashley, a college student; Trenton, a high schooler; and Brett, who is in grade school.

Brenda Barr - Mustard Seed Director
Brenda Barr, with the help of Dr Rosemary Stein, developed this ministry not only for our church but for other churches in Alamance County.  This has been a great ministry that God is using to help many children in this area.
Brenda has a big heart for children, but an even much bigger heart for God. It is her dream that many children will come to know Christ through this ministry, and many lives and homes will be changed.
 
The Mustard Seed Club is an exciting, fun filled time held once a week on Wednesdays after school until 5:30pm for boys and girls in the 2nd-5th grades. It includes:
>Transportation from Grove Park Elementary and North Graham Elementary Schools by church van to Burlington First Church of the Nazarene
>Snacks
>Games
>Dynamic Bible Stories and devotions
>Structured tutoring time for help with school work
>It is free
This program is staffed with workers who have been carefully screened and have a desire to help children grow in knowledge and wisdom in their academic and spiritual life. For more information, contact the church office at 226-2148.
Lovencheau Sorsenginh - Laotian Pastor

Pastor Sorsenginh birthed the Laotian congregation at Burlington First in 1997 after moving to the area from California where he also pastored. Lovencheau is married to Botham and they have one son, three daughters and many wonderful grandchildren. Pastor Sorsenginh is a bi-vocational pastor with a true love for his native countrymen who need to discover Jesus and the freedom only He can give.
